A large-scale choral concert celebrating the musical legacy of Maestro Raimonds Pauls will bring together 12,000 singers from Latvia and abroad, featuring distinguished conductors of the Latvian Song and Dance Festival, esteemed soloists, and the Latvian Radio Big Band.
2026 On July 11, 2026, Mežaparks’ “Sidraba birzs” will host a concert celebrating the musical contributions and enduring legacy of composer and pianist Raimonds Pauls. The event will bring together 12,000 choir singers from across Latvia and Latvian communities abroad, alongside acclaimed soloists and the Latvian Radio Big Band.
The program will feature well-known choral works by Pauls, as well as newly commissioned compositions created specifically for the occasion. The evening will conclude with an inclusive sing-along, inviting all attendees to participate in a shared musical experience that honors the spirit of unity and collective expression.
Registration for Raimonds Pauls’ song festival “Manai Dzimtenei” has concluded with 385 choirs or 12,300 singers from all over Latvia and Latvian communities abroad signing up.
